'The Magician' is inspired by the Major Arcana card (Tarot) of the
same name. It incorporates all of the major symbolism with one exception, the
Magician himself (or herself). This is to symbolize the viewer taking an
active role in the piece, becoming the Magician, the balancing force between
the worlds (here the world of binary information and the analog world).
It was used in a promotional music video for an A/V firm in Southern
California also titled 'The Magician.'
'The Magician' was created in Lightwave 2.0 using a Toaster-fueled
A2000. With a GVP 030, rendering time was a little more than an hour. All
the objects and textures were hand-crafted by me with the exception of the
image map of Britton Revere's 'Apollo,' the framed painting in the background.
I welcome your thoughts and opinions on this piece, I am also a artist
for hire, so feel free to jot me a note to my e-mail address listed above.

I can keep my records up-to-date. You may use this piece as
